Saleena Hax is a budding new model that found her way to modeling through DJing at various Industrial and Gothic clubs ! After viewing many fashions shows and asking every model she could, Saleena took the plunge into modeling and she has not been happier! Currently, she is a JSE Top Model, a Certified MPI Model, an In Motion model, a trainee for Evane under the sharp eye of Mimmi Boa, a trainee at Venus Agency under Giselle Temple and a live model for Nymphetamine Boutique. JCNY has come to mean style, grace and a quiet elgance for me and when I need 'just the right piece' I know that anything I pick up will work with any outfit, from jeans to a formal gown.

I'm an SL top model since 1 year, i like fashion world of sl and rl , I follow the current of fashion , I followed much the advices of my friends and also thanks to them if today I'm part of some agencies of fashion among the most important sl, beyond them, my determination has contributed to my success. I'm kindly and friendly, I do my best to adapt to any circumstance with people of my country and other countries, i like to be happy and i'm very quiet person, I think the JCNY brand is the most complete , comprehensive and care throughout SL, I have already participated 5 times to jcny model fest last year.

JCNY has given me the opportunity of my young SL modeling career in allowing me to be a JCNY Showcase Model. This is the first time I can wear the tag of "Model" above my head and I am so very happy and extremely appreciative of this chance. I have taken classes and have been working hard to become the best I can be in this business, but you have to get that first nod from someone and JCNY has made a dream come true for me. I have several new model friends in here, all taking classes with me, all struggling to get their foot in the door, and when they see that JCNY made it happen for me - it gives them hope and inspires them to try for it as well, and that means so much to me - I wholeheartedly encourage those with less experience (like me) to get that application and go for it! And another perk: I am now a JCNY jewelry fanatic - and am really enjoying accessorizing my wardrobe with their uniquely crafted pieces. My SL accomplishments to me are based not on a title, but more on if I am doing the right thing and spreading SL joy and fun to others using myself as a tool to do this. So I will not go over my titles or what I own. Instead I will say, I use my character and wit to help people enjoy thier SL more! I enjoy helping people. It's my calling in life I think. I have never really REALLY modeled before on SL. The only thing I have done really is spin on a stand for a couple of my friends, Potnia of Ora Trei Designs and Tiff of Bitch Tail, when they needed a Model. To me JCNY brings more then just a Model Competition to mind when I think of the name. It brings a feeling of security and warmth. It brings back memories of the past, good times. I think of all the lovers, the loved, the in love people who come wanting to give something that signifies something from deep within. How can you even describe that! We come here to find this special peice. Everything in JCNY has brought someone this feeling I spoke of earlier. As for me getting picked as a Showcase Model, WOW! This is awesome and I am in shock! Since i started in SL i felt fascinated by the Fashion Industry and i new i wanted to be part of it; and JCNY helped me a lot to make this dream come true. I remember when my fascination with jewelry and gems began. I was just a little girl, and I would watch my mother putting on her fancy jewelry every day for work. I would rifle through her jewelry box with her, and help her pick out what to wear. Since then, I've garnered quite the collection all my own, and I've decided to follow my passion and make a career out of it. I am a graduate from a prestigious jewelry design program and am currently pursuing a degree in gemology from one of the world's leading authorities on diamonds and gems. JCNY was the very first jewelry I ever fell in love with in Second Life, and I still wear my Solstice collection all the time. I recommend their pieces to everyone I know. As a bit of a jewelry and gem connoisseur, I consider myself to have very good taste, and I would definitely wear JCNY were they a real jewelry line! I am honored to have been chosen to walk their runway.

This being my second time as a JCNY Model'Fest Runway entrant and model I find I am even more excited this time around. The jitters are very real and the amazement is just as fabulous but I think this time I see more of what really goes into being a model and representive of JCNY. Now that I have come so close I feel reinvigorated to plan, practice, and coordinate just a bit better so that maybe next time I can turn runner up into Model'fest winner. The opportunity, contacts, and exposure provided by this experience are all things I feel have made me a better model. This is why I feel that JCNY's Model'fest is a positive competition that any model looking to improve should join.

Hello, my name is Bree Rexen. I am a quiet but fun person to be around. I am employed by Thalia's Fashion Collection as an Assistant Manager. I've been intersted in becoming a model since I first heard they existed in Second Life about a year ago. That is how I learned about Thalia's. I think JCNY is a great place to buy jewlery for a friend, loved one or yourself. Everything is very high quality. After being selected a few times, I have a better view of what Model'Fest and the JCNY organization is all about. No longer is JCNY just the leading jeweler in SL with a community interest in furthering fashion and modeling in SL. JCNY is now also part of my family. I can't tell you how awesome it has been to be picked as a showcase model again and also to be a "part of" the shows and the awards presentations. To feel all the camaraderie from JD all the way to the Runway Managers, to the spectators and above all, the models on the runway is just incredible! The atmosphere is often times charged with enough electricityto handle the needs of the entire sim and then some! All the veteran models have been so kind and compassionate in giving help and encouragement. It just feels good to be out on the runway posing and chatting with the people that walk by and enjoying the company of comrades....its truly inspirational. Im so glad JD Hansen and the JCNY Judges never loose trust in me..I just love gracing the JCNY Runway..even if I have quite a hectic schedule these days I always find time to be at the runway and in their shows. This is how I am in both lives...standing on what I believe and I strongly believe in JCNY collection. As you can imagine, after being in Second Life for 4 years, I have done just about everything possible in this wonderful virtual world. The one aspect of sl that has been a constant to me during these years, is my love for fashion. I love being up-to-date on the latest fashions, skins, hair, jewelry as well as exploring new sims and locations. I love the versatility and creativity that comes with achieving a new look for myself each and every day for any occasion. I can't think of a better way to express that passion and give due credit to the designers than modeling. I'm an admirer of originality and creativity and JCNY combines both in their creations. The year of 2009 has been a really exciting year for me in Second Life.I´ve been experiencing a great development in my modeling career and one explanation is the JCNY ModelFest where i got selected and took part five times this year.This event is in many ways one of the biggest reasons to why i think the modeling world of SL has developed dramatically lately.Being in this competition forces you to work hard finding nice clothing,jewelry,skins,shoes etc so you can compete during the selection process.If you are lucky and get in the contest you meet a lot of nice people who you can get good hints from to become better in your modeling.There are few,if any,of the top names of modeling today that haven´t been posing on the runway at JCNY sometime during their career.Now i´m proud to once again have been selected as a showcase model and i look forward to a week of fun and interesting experiences!See you at JCNY!

On a personal note...I like entering competions, I love music and movies and enjoy reading. In sl i take great pride in taking my own pictures, exploring and making new friends. Hello, my name is Glitter Bolissima. I am thrilled to be on JCNY's runway for the 7th time this year. I look forward to entering and it is truly a lot of fun. My very first modeling experience was when I entered JCNY MODEL'FEST back in about June of 2008 and I made Showcase Model in one of their week long sessions. I then went on to make Showcase Model for one week in each of the next two months. Those times that I spent on the JCNY runway pretty much launched my SL modeling career, so I owe them a lot for that. I'm also very glad to have met some wonderful people through that experience. And last but not least, I am so proud and happy to say that I'm getting married on November 14th 2009, my beautiful are wearing JCNY - ROSA Diamond Rings with Hypergems Controller as our engagement rings. :)

I'm Toapz and it is thrilling to be back once more as a JCNY showcase model. When i am not modelling i love to decorate my sim and take inworld photos. i also enjoy exploring the grid and discovering new sims. There is such a variety of cutlures in sl one can never see enough. I can shop till I drop but I also have time for my friends who mean a great deal to me. JCNY triggered my modelling career and my passion for taking photos and. It lured me to a beautiful and wonderful world which is the world of sl fashion. That is why I repeatedly return to this magnificent runway which, for me, epitomizes fashion and all that is beautiful in sl. It is also a place where i have met and made new new friends. Let me start by saying thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be a Showcase Model for 2 weeks in a row. This is a huge accomplishment for me. One I won't too soon forget. What can I say about JCNY that hasn't already been said. Not only does JCNY offer beautiful, quallity jewelry but it also offers an opportunity like no other jeweler in SL. To me JCNY means quality and service at it's finest. Although my JCNY jewelry collection is quite small right now (but it's growing), I couldn't imagine being without it. It's become a big part of my SL. This coming from a girl who never used much jewelry...now can't miss a day without wearing it. Sabine Mortenwold Sabine Mortenwold rezzed a year ago in Oct. She is happy to be celebrating her anniversary on SL modeling on the JCNY runway as a Showcase Model. Sabine started her modeling career with classes from LA Modeling Academy, Evane, and SuperElite and she is a runway model with LA. Sabine also recently modeled in several shows with Virtual London Fashion Week. Her love of fashion in RL as well as SL and putting the right look together drew her to JCNY where she has found many lovely pieces that give an outfit a special touch. One of the things that she likes best about JCNY is the fact that so many pieces have the capability to change metals and gems giving one a much broader range to work with as opposed to buying one piece of jewelry and one look. She is proud to have been chosen to model with JCNY for the last three weeks.

Lolita Kerang Hi there! I have just recently entered the world of Second Life Fashion Modeling and am thrilled that I have been chosen for this week's showcase. I have long been a fan of both JCNY and the whole fashion scene but only a couple of weeks ago did I dare try to become part of it. DocSeree Mistwalker My heart is overflowing with joy when Ms. JD Hansen and the JCNY Judges chose me for the 5th time as JCNY Showcase Model. As a model that has an eye for fashion, I cannot say my outfit is complete without wearing JCNY pieces. My favorite now is the Morticia Set timely for the Halloween it complemented my scary but sexy looks especially now that a lot of agencies, magazines are up with Halloween theme pics for contests. I would like to thank Ms. JD for the nth time and the judges who put their trust in me that I could very well represent JCNY together with all the models chosen for week 2. I have made lots of friends because of this experience, my modeling and runway skills were honed by the very patient and respectable managers: Hermione, Sparkie and Cheriese. More power JCNY.

Diamonte Avedon I am a shining star, a brilliant light, a precious jewel. Many mistake me for the for the queen of all gems: the diamond. Yet, my name refers to a style of poetry that begins with with one subject and changes to a totally different one at the end. JCNY houses a collection of beautiful gems. However, it also encompasses the unpredictable world of fashion modelling. It is a perfect fit for me. Mysterious and elegant.

Bree Rexen Hello, my name is Bree Rexen. I am a quiet but fun person to be around. I am employed by Thalia's Fashion Collection as an Assistant Manager. I've been intersted in becoming a model since I first heard they existed in Second Life about a year ago. That is how I learned about Thalia's. I think JCNY is a great place to buy jewlery for a friend, loved one or yourself. Everything is very high quality.

Arisia Ashmoot Hello! I am Arisia and its really a pleasure to me to be chosen again as a showcase model for the second time! My first time at the runway was an amazing experience, i could met really nice people and learn more about the fascinating SL Fashion Industry. Alexandra Maskelyne It is the middle of October and I am here again! Never did I think I would be selected so many times - and I can say hand on heart, that it has been such a wonderful experience. Of course. it is getting harder and harder - I have had to think of ways of standing out from the rest of the models on the catwalk. I am constantly going backstage to change my outfits, and thanks to server issues, the occassional panic when my clothes do not appear.
Of course there are the familar faces that have been with me since I first started, and there are new models as well - some fierce competition. But this has now gotten under my skin, and I am not letting go of this opportunity without a fight!.
