Hello and thank You to the wonderful people at JCNY for allowing me to walk yet another step in my modeling career! it is not only an honor but exciting to be apart of such a huge part of the SL Modeling and Fashion industry. This is my second time on the runway, and I have to admit this is so much fun! As a print and runway model here in SL, I am truly blessed. With over 300 looks, the variety, vanity, and pure creativity of what one person can achieve here in SL is in my opinion an outlet that puts SL modeling on a plateau RL models will never be able to experience. The luxury of changing ones skin, hair, eyes in just a matter of seconds is something that makes SL a models paradise. Since I started modeling almost a year ago, I have met so many wonderful people, and have had the privilege to wear some of the best designs the fashion world has been blessed with. Being selected once again as a runway model for JCNY's Model'Fest has been one of my greatest accomplishments in SL. For the past few months I have been working hard to better my modeling career and interviewing with agencies and I definitely feel that being selected to be a runway model three times since I began a month ago has helped me so much that it is hard to put into words. Almost 2 years I had been in sl, I enjoy meeting wonderful people here and try interesting things. English might not be my first language but I still continue learing and people here don't mind to be pation with me . Now I work at the clinic in sl to guide people how to get pregnant in this world. Thank you so much for inviting me to participate as a showcase model for week 2, it is an honor to have been given the chance to represent a company as well known and high quality as JCNY whose products include some of the best jewelry accessories I have seen for both men and women in SL. As a relatively new member of the second life fashion community having entered this competition has provided me with an outlet to showcase myself as a model, while also providing me with an enjoyable photography project to work on which is something I have recently taken up as a hobby. To me SL fashion is mostly about expressing creativity as designers, models, or even photographers and I enjoy shopping around to find different and sometimes exotic or extravagant designs while working both in front of and at times behind the camera to create pictures which I feel capture the looks as I envision them. Once again thank you for running this competition and selecting me to take part on the runway, the opportunity is much appreciated and the people I've met here have been fantastic.

JCNY was the first premier fashion designer I discovered in SL and I was truly awestruck the first time I browsed its aisles, not to mention the vault!. During my short Second Life, I have been blessed to be able to model for Jamie Rozenberg's Well Versed, and now the JCNY Collection. I feel extremely lucky to have these opportunities to represent the average woman, of real size and curves. My name is Slowly Bury, I have been a resident for two years. Three of my favorite pastime on Second Life are, taking and developing my photography, exploring the fashion world, and writing. These thing allow me to learn but also tend to my creative nature. In addition to these thing I enjoy cruising the art world of Second Life and meeting fellow Artist. To me JCNY means fashion forward. I think its amazing to see something you can easily see in our 1st lives that’s accessible to us in our 2nd lives.
I am a bit new to Second Life, but I quickly developed a love for the games constantly growing fashion industry. Being a cosmetologist in real life keeps me constantly focused on the fashion world, and I am very excited to be able to share that passion and interest with others; whom without Second Life I may never have had an opportunity to meet. JCNY is especially important to me because jewelry creation is a hobby of mine, and I love to find all sources of inspiration. I noticed that Second Life designers seem to be more willing to push the boundaries, and try things that real life designers may not be so willing to attempt; creating an endless stream of boundary pushing designs. To me there is nothing more exciting on Second Life than the SL Fashion Industry!
Some know me as a model in stores. Others know me as a model for Fashion-In-Look, or Model & Trainer for Reflections. Many know me as the CEO of The Other Modeling Agency, putting on huge fashion shows, like Rhi saw Saturday, hehe; and soon to be CEO of L'Autre Academie de Mannequinat. And my latest accomplishment: becoming one of the JCNY Showcase models for June! :D JCNY means a lot to me. So far I know that it is one of the most major names in fashion, period. Here I am again and just as thrilled as I was the first time I was chosen. So much has changed for me since I was last on the prestigious JCNY Runway: my modeling career seems to be moving right along. I'm a runway model with Style Enabled Modeling Agency for models of all abilities and disabilities. I've been a store model with House of Beningborough and I'm currently on their runway for the 5th week in a row in the HoB Model of the Month contest and I have a picture in the juried Lionskins' photo contest. But JCNY is where I got my start way back in their first ever contest. It's an honor to represent JCNY Collections here on the stage and at M-17 where my photograph (Photographed by Anarion Nemeth) is featured on the wall. JCNY jewelry is the perfect touch of class and bling that every girl - model or not - and guy (yes, men wear beautiful jewelry and watches, too) wants. SL is full of amazingly talented and creative designers and builders, JD Hansen being one of the best. The detail on all of the jewelry pieces is absolutely amazing, they look so real! What some may not realize is that JCNY also has a nice collection of men's jewelry as well. Watches, cufflinks, necklaces, even earrings for men can be found in JCNY all of the highest quality and very reasonable prices. My first impression of JCNY was like "OMG, I LOVE THIS STORE"! As I walked around the store, i was amazed by the design and detail of all the products. I have accomplished many things here in sl from owning and co -owning a wedding business as well as a successful club and clan. I came to SL nearly 2 years ago and decided to begin with what I have learned that a lot do in SL when starting out, so I set out to become one of SL's best dancers and for 16 months I did that and strived to be one of the best out there which I feel I accomplished. After that I worked in a spa for about 4 months as their front desk receptionist. We were geared to pamper the SL avatar with our wonderfully trained staff to do massages in our luxury getaways for couples, singles, wedding parties and much more. The past month I have been doing some modeling for a few SL businesses wearing their clothes for the customers to see as they would walk in. I am now trying to break into the more fashion end of what SL has to offer. I have found that JCNY has set out to give us all a chance for that big break and by keeping us posted on many of the fashion ins and outs as well as selling some of the most gorgeous pieces of jewelry I ever seen.

My impression of JCNY is that it is the most upscale jewelry provider in all of SL. The jewelry itself is exquisite and very realistic. The brand JCNY is in my opinion, is part of the Who's Who of the SL jewelry industry. Fashion in SL is a thriving industry and has become its own "ecosystem". There are designers, modeling agencies, models, jewelry and accessory stores that all work together to produce top notch fashion ensembles.
Being chosen as a JCNY Showcase model, for me, is a huge accomplishment and honour. With JCNY playing a huge part in the SL modeling world, being a Showcase Model is giving me a great opportunity to 'get my face and name out there' and to meet new people, make new friends. Very importantly though, it is a real honour to be able to stand on the JCNY runway and represent JCNY as a Showcase model. No matter whether i progress or win, being able to achieve the aforementioned, is a major Prize for me anyway and i feel like I’ve already won and that makes me a winner already :o)

I am so excited to be picked again as a JCNY Showcase Model! I greatly enjoy meeting the other models and JCNY clients. JCNY is my virtual Tiffany's. I come here to look, to buy, to stroll, and just to get that happy feeling a girl gets when gifting herself with diamonds. When walking down the runway, I always wear a little something of JCNY, something that reflects the light of my personality. Being able to represent JCNY as a showcase model brings an extra smile to my day.
I love joining the ladies on the runway each time I am selected. I seem to learn something new each time. JD has been a leader in sl helping new faces achieve their dreams as a model. I really appreciate everything she has done. I also love the jewelry she designs and the innovations such as the virtual phone. I have enjoyed every piece of jewelry I have gotten from the store and I am always excited about the next releases.
Hello Everyone I’m Elenie. I am a relatively new model in SL, just starting out, I have done some photographic modeling for store vendor adds and a calendar. I have regular work as a live in store model. and was picked as a House of Beningborough runway model during the May/June model contest. I am absolutely thrilled to be given this amazing opportunity to model in the JCNY showcase, to "work" (its more a pleasure than work for me) with an amazing bunch of friendly interesting people, and wear the prettiest most glamorous outfits I own enhanced by the beauty and quality of JCNY's amazingly realistic Jewelry! With the hyper gem technology every piece is a million pieces in one! Everything can be adjusted to fit and compliment each outfit. What more could a girl want or need?. With the best bunch of friends and the most amazing man who love and support me to enjoy my SL with I truly am living the dream here! I want to thank the JCNY team for giving me this opportunity and will do my best to be a good ambassador during my time here, though the gems speak for themselves!
Once again I have been selected as a Wild Card model for Model Fest. This is a great honor and I wish to thank JD Hansen and the other judges. I have done a few things since the last time I was here on the stage. I did some ad work for Katlaya Greggan and at the present time I am working on a Show for Fashion-In-Look who have put me on their roster of models. It is nice to associate myself with these ladies and gentlemen that walk the stages. Entered some contests like all of the gals and guys out there and I keep trying everyday for more work. My time at Classic w/Style helped me very much. It is hard , but pleasing work, and there are a lot of us out there. Thanks again to JD Hansen and her Model Fest for giving me a chance once again to be seen and show off her beautiful creations.
Hello! My name is Marilyn Bamaisin, a girl in love with fashion in SL. I spend my time here modeling, shopping, going to events, participating in hunts...Being in JCNY is one of the best opportunities I have received for improving as a model. I am sure I am going to do it my best and enjoy every second. Thank you for electing me. I can't wait to meet the other participants and be on the stage.
I would like to thank JD Hansen and all of the amazing staff that make the Model'fest what it is. This my second time having the opportunity to be here on the runway and I am having an amazing time. Sharing the runway with each and everyone of these amazing and beautiful people is what we as models work for. As you ask what JCNY means to me I can tell you style, sophistication, beauty and versatility. The opportunities that are given to the most beautiful and fashionable people in SL is one that is to be found nowhere else. The hard work that each and every one of them put into the hottest fashions and grace are displayed right on the Showcase Runway. I am a Director of the SPIRIT Dazzlers Cheer/Dance Team and a Runway and print model and I just want to say thank you so much to everyone that has ever given me tips, criticism and hope to be the best I can. This is so worth all the work!
I’m Taya Renfold, an easy going, down to earth, aspiring model who is surprised and humbled at the same time, to have been chosen as a JCNY Showcase Model. This is actually one of two big breaks for me this week in a long journey to becoming a successful model.... talk about being motivated but yet humbled at the same time. When I do take time out for things other than fashion, I enjoy exploring various sims, taking photographs and meeting people from all walks of life. My impressions of JCNY are simple, it is a great place for anyone whose looking for classy, well designed jewelry, accessories and clothing. Thank you so much JD for giving me the opportunity.
I cannot tell you how excited I am at being chosen for a fourth time as a JCNY showcase model. This is so overwhelming to me and I am having the best time being here. I have met some truly wonderful people many of whom have become really good friends and I can't wait to see who I meet next. I feel so blessed to have such great friends and people who have been encouraging and supportive of me during my journey into the world of modeling. I can't wait to see where it takes me next. Thank you again to everyone that made it possible for me to be here once again.
Wow, I think I'm more stunned this week than I was the first week I was chosen to be in the MODEL'FEST. Being around such talented and hardworking women has given me a new level of confidence in my abilities and allowed me to make some great new friends each week. JCNY is like my family now, always apart of what I do in SL and makes me look fabulous while I'm doing it. Thanks to JD, Rhi, Sparkie and everyone who finds me an interesting choice each week. It's an amazing thing to experience.
I'd have to say that I'm a easy person to get along with, I love to help others. I love a challenge and trying new things. I love hard and play hard. my family means the world to me, JCNY was the very first shop I went to buy jewelry when I came to SL and have been back often, I even bought my necklace and earrings set for my wedding. I am always amazed at what they come up with.
